Seacoast Hospice

Founded by volunteers in 1978, Seacoast Hospice is the only independent, non-profit hospice in New Hampshire. We provide care and support for patients and families in Rockingham and Strafford Counties. The Seacoast Hospice team is comprised of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, chaplain, volunteers and others who work together to meet the unique needs of each patient and family. Seacoast Hospice cares for patients in their own homes, nursing homes and hospitals. Seacoast Hospice Bereavement Coordinators maintain contact with families for more than a year after the death. Short-term bereavement counseling is also available. All Seacoast Hospice Bereavement Services and education programs are funded solely through donations and community support. Bereavement Services are offered to the communities we serve through support groups, education and our lending library. Short-term counseling is available on a limited basis.
